Artist Point Ride

Artist Point is the highest destination in Washington state. In this map you start at sea level at the Harley-Davidson dealership in Bellignham and end en up in the saddle between two of our most beautiful mountains: Shuksan and Baker.

Sumas to Acme

Head out East of Bellingham to experience this nice swath of Whatcom County. You get a little of our open farmlands with some open roads on the way up, but once you take a right at the Canadian border it's all winding hills and bordering on mountains.

Chuckanut Drive Mt. Baker Highway

If you haven't ridden along Chuckanut bay, you need to drop everything right now and head out. This old highway hugs the edge of some steep hill and winds along some great vistas of the San Juan Islands.

Lummi Island via Ferndale

Take a ride through Ferndale and then over to the Lummi Island Ferry. A 15 minute boat ride puts you on Lummi Island where you can do a circuit around the shoreline with views of the San Juans and Canada.

Birch Bay, Blaine and Lynden

This ride takes you all around the Northwest corner of Whatcom County. Cruise over half the way around Belligham bay on roads that hug the beach.

Nothing beats the winding cliff-side Chuckanut drive for views. Whether you are going north or south it's a fun alternative to I5 or a good there and back trip.
